Language policy
English is the major medium of instruction in school. To prepare our students to be global citizens, we train them to be trillingual and biliterate. Since 1926, Putonghua has been incorporated into the formal curriculum. In order to promote students' interest in learning languages as well as polishing their communication skills, they are encouraged to participate in Speech Festivals, inter-school debating and drama activities or competitions. The Native English Speaking Teacher (NET) and language teachers organized various activities, e.g. English Monday, EASE Café to enhance the English proficiency of our students. EMI subject teachers also collaborate to develop common language across curriculum.
Facilities
The facilities in school are well above standard. All classrooms and special rooms are air-conditioned. Special facilities include sport grounds, bible-study court, chapel, maker room, AI laboratory, Centre for the Advancement for the Renewable Energy (CARE), school hall and lecture theatre which are well equipped with professional audio-visual and lighting system. For years, the School Council has looked for and explored possibilities to optimize school facilities. After careful deliberation and convinced that this was a God-given opportunity, the Council finally completed two development projects of building up a New Assembly Hall Complex and redeveloping Block E. New spacious facilities, such as all-seasons swimming pool, indoor basketball court, library and classrooms among other improvements will enable Munsang College to keep her traditions and yet be equipped to look forward, modernize, transform and reach new heights.
