Language policy

Our school stresses the importance of students' language ability and puts a lot of resources into developing their biliterate and trilingual talents. Our policy is to help students become strong in English and excel in Chinese. Building on the strength of our students' excellent performance in extensive reading, Chinese Language and Chinese Literature, we have developed a school-based Chinese Literature course in our junior form curriculum. This helps enrich our junior students' knowledge of Chinese literature, arouse their interest in learning Chinese and raise their Chinese standard. As for English learning, in addition to the Native English Teacher, we have two more NETs from Chatteris and two part-time NET drama tutors. In total, three NETs in our school are helping organise English activities. Large-scale, whole-school English activities are provided for students weekly, and junior form students enjoy regular English drama lessons.

The school comprises two academic buildings, including 26 standard classrooms, two Information Technology Learning Centres (Inno Centre and Maker Centre), four laboratories (including a Bio-Talent Lab), a teaching resource room, library, English Corner, student activity centre, sustainable ecology pavilion, as well as an assembly hall, chapel, two covered playgrounds and a canteen.
