Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2026 ).Criteria and weightings for discretionary places: Academic assessment in P.5 & P.6 (55%), Interview performance (20%), Conduct, Awards, extra-curricular activities & services (25%).
Use boundary: This can explain the prior cycle's published admission approach, but it cannot establish the 2027 application window, weightings or participation status.
Language policy
Our school uses English as the medium of instruction in all subjects except Chinese Language, Chinese History, Putonghua, Religious Studies and Life Education. Apart from that, we also emphasize the teaching Chinese and Putonghua. Through the NET scheme, Chinese and English Reading Across the Curriculum Literacy Programme, Drama curriculum, English Week and Putonghua Activities and overseas study tours, we hope that our students can achieve high levels of proficiency in “biliteracy and trilingualism”.
Facilities
To meet the evolving needs of the times, we continually update and expand our learning facilities. Nine decades of dedicated development have allowed the school's equipment to become increasingly comprehensive. All classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, computers, ultra-short-throw laser projectors, wireless internet, and Apple TV to satisfy the various needs of teaching and learning activities and to promote students' self-directed learning. In addition to the True Light Oasis, electronic learning areas, home economics rooms, sewing rooms, library, English Centre, laboratories, and STEAM studios, we also offer a full-sized all-weather sports field, indoor gymnasium, heated indoor swimming pool, three dance studios, a multi-purpose covered playground, school history room, career planning room, counseling office, Black Box Theatre, True Light Chapel, campus television station, and self-directed learning rooms—providing ample resources to support the development of multiple intelligences and holistic education.
