Historical admission reference

S1 admission reference: September 2026

Our school is the only aided school in Hong Kong that has full autonomy in Secondary One Admission (i.e. 100% discretionary places). Therefore, students are recruited on a territory-wide basis. According to the guidelines set by the Education Bureau, students who apply for S1 places in our school may still apply for discretionary places in two other government or aided secondary schools. Application for 26/27 admission is open from January 2 to January 20, 2026. Applicants should possess the following characteristics: 1. have good performances in academic work as well as in conduct; 2. interested and talented in sports/visual arts; and 3. have taken part in relevant sports and arts activities.

Use boundary: This can explain the prior cycle's published admission approach, but it cannot establish the 2027 application window, weightings or participation status.

Language policy

English is adopted as the medium of instruction in all forms [except Chinese Language, Chinese History and Putonghua (S.1 and S.2)]. Putonghua is implemented in the junior form curriculum. Students' language ability in both Chinese Language and English Language is enhanced through the implementation of reading schemes, oral presentations and participation in activities like Speech Festivals, debates, drama, etc. A Chinese Centre and an English Centre are set up to organise programmes and activities.
