Route unconfirmedLanguage policy
Students are put into different classes according to their English proficiency. There are also enhancement courses and LAC-related activities which create a rich English language learning environment at school. Putonghua is used to teach Chinese language in some classes in S.1 and S.2. Some subjects offer both Chinese medium and English medium classes. Bilingual teaching is implemented from S.4 to S.6 and it is proved that with the use of Chinese as MOI in our school, our students are better able to understand what is taught and can analyze problems, express views, develop an enquiring mind and cultivate critical thinking. We deploy additional resources to hire TWO native English-speaking teachers to work with the English teachers to teach English speaking lessons in S1, S2 and S3, in order to strengthen students' confidence and ability in using English.
