Language policy
We have adopted English as the medium of instruction (EMI) in some non-language subjects in some classes in junior forms. Both Mathematics and Science (S.1 and S.2) are taught in English. S.3 Citizenship, Economics and Society and Science subjects are taught in English or have Extended Learning Activities in English. A series of school-based teaching and learning packages has been integrated into the curriculum to facilitate English learning. English learning is a priority of school development. We have held a variety of English learning activities, such as English Activity Days, NET Chats, Lunchtime English Performances, short presentations in English and some English cross-curricula activities with science, music, visual arts and physical education. These activities enrich the English learning environment for the students and maximize their exposure to the language.
