Language policy

We foster bilingualism as part of our commitment to holistic education. We are dedicated to promoting a balanced approach to learning both Chinese and English across different levels. At the junior forms, the main medium of instruction is the mother tongue, while at the senior levels, the medium of instruction is tailored to the nature of each subject, employing either Chinese or English. Through a variety of initiatives and activities, we provide students with a rich environment to enhance their English language skills, including an English Reading Program, English Wednesdays, oral practices, activities and regular thematic English events. Additionally, we are actively engaged in cultivating a reading culture to improve writing skills in both Chinese and English, ensuring students have ample opportunities to develop their language capabilities in a comprehensive and engaging manner.

1. The school hall is equipped with an LED wall to enhance the visual experience and strengthen the interactive learning atmosphere. 2. All classrooms are networked with optical fibre and IT equipment such as smartboards and visualizers. 3. In addition to the school hall, our school is fully equipped with a variety of special rooms: a lecture hall, School History Room, student activity centre, English Chat Room, three computer rooms, five laboratories, a STEAM Fabrication Lab, library, Arts Education room, 'Campus TV' Station, and a Creation Base camp. 4. Our campus also features specialized areas such as the 'Nature Corner,' meticulously designed to nurture students' interests and latent potential. The CAVE virtual learning classroom serves to foster creative and technological thinking through immersive and interactive learning experiences.
