Language policy
English is adopted as the main medium of instruction. Promoting English Learning: 1. All forms have implemented school-based cross-curriculum learning. 2. A school-based speaking curriculum enhances English learning and value education for all F.1-F.2 classes. 3. To create an environment conducive to English learning, activities such as drama, musical, English Debating, Talent show are held. 4. Our students actively participated in English Solo Verse Speaking, Public Speaking, Drama and Debating Competitions, achieving remarkable results. Both our junior and senior debating teams have continually won the champion and 1st runner up in the HK Secondary Schools Debate Competition (District). Upgrading the Level of Chinese & Putonghua: 1. Students are able to upgrade their level of Chinese progressively through the focally-designed curriculum combining the integrated skills in Chinese. 2. Self-devised learning packages are used to cultivate students’ appreciation in classical Chinese Literature and raise their quality of reading. 3. The Literary Chinese Reading Comprehension materials students use in junior forms are all tailored by our own teachers. In an attempt to develop students' classical Chinese reading skills. 4. We also tailor our own Chinese teaching materials for senior form students. 5. Junior students are nurtured to develop from a “willingness to write” to a “passion for writing” through the implementation of the “Weekly Diary”. 6. Students’ language proficiency and cultural literacy are boosted through participating in various extra-curricular activities. 7. We have PTH lessons in all junior forms to improve students' PTH listening and speaking skills. 8. Actively participated in inter-school competitions and had excellent results.
