Language policy

The School adopts Chinese as the medium of instruction (CMI) while placing great emphasis on English teaching and learning. To enhance students’ proficiency in English, the School - recruits additional native English teachers to further enrich the language environment and run after-school English tutorials. - provides the English Core Curriculum for S1 students and arranges split classes for all forms. - increases students’ exposure to the language through a wide range of English activities such as an English immersion programme, English Day, English drama, the English Speech Festival and English speech contests. - trains English Ambassadors to make announcements, give presentations during assemblies and host formal events and ceremonies in English. - caters to diverse learning needs through English enhancement & remedial courses.

Facilities

The area of our school is around 8,000 square metres. With the aim of providing a modern learning environment for our students, all classrooms are equipped with air-conditioning facilities, a wireless network, a central audio-visual system and an interactive electronic whiteboard. Also, we have computer rooms, a library, a black box theatre, special rooms, an AI smart fitness room, two outdoor basketball courts and a school hall with the capacity of more than 400 persons. Our school is nestled in a tranquil area, with an attractive sea view and greenery. Our School is close to Heng Fa Chuen MTR station.
