Language policy

To better cultivate students’ English ability in the school, all subjects except Chi. Language, Chi. Hist., Social & Cultural Studies and PE are taught in Eng. and will have extended learning activities conducted in Eng. In our monthly Eng. weeks, all teachers will communicate with students in Eng. in order to build an English-rich environment. PTH activities are also held during morning assemblies to enhance the atmosphere of communication in Putonghua.

Facilities

Our academic building which has seven floors, we have a total of 28 classrooms and a number of special rooms, including the Irene Yu’s Library, English Corner, Self-study room, Geography room, Students Union room, Visual Arts room, Physics Laboratory, IS/Chemistry Laboratory, Tony Tong’s Biotechnology Laboratory, Music Room, Piano practice room, Computer Assisted Learning Room, Computer Room, Language Learning Center, Living Technology Lab, Design and Technology Workshop, Student Activity Center, Social Worker Room, Debate Room, Campus TV, Conference Room, Lecture theatre and Multipurpose Room. All rooms are air-conditioned, connected by Wi-Fi network and equipped with glass-wall, laser projectors and smart iPad cabinets, all of which help foster a diversified educational environment in our school. There are two basketball courts and the school hall for students' activities. The smart phone cabinets and lockers are provided to our students for the purpose of storage.
