Language policy

1. Some students from each form, S.1 to S.3, are learning Mathematics and Science in the medium of English, so as to interface the learning needs of senior and university curriculum. 2. All subjects that adopted English as the medium of instruction must have textbooks, assignments and student assessments in English. 3. To nurture students’ communication and critical-thinking skills, most of the subjects will adopt Chinese as the medium of instruction but with English vocabulary items and unit summaries. 4. Our school emphasizes biliteracy and trilingualism, conducting morning assemblies in English and Putonghua, both inter- and intra-school language activities and competitions, language ambassador scheme, language weeks, reading scheme, communicating with teachers from mainland and foreigner countries.
