Route unconfirmedLanguage policy
Starting from 1997, we adopted Chinese as the medium of instruction and paid great attention to English learning. Besides employing a regular native-speaking English teacher, additional native English tutors are employed to enhance the English ability of our students. Activities such as the Extensive Reading Scheme, English Life-wide Learning Activities, English Debate Training, the English Club and the International Culture Club have been organized. English Corner was also set up to enhance English learning. EMI has been introduced for some selected subjects in senior form from 2009 onwards and junior form from 2010. Language Across Curriculum (LAC) learning modules were designed by the collaboration of English and other subject teachers in recent years. The implementation of LAC enabled students to learn across different subjects.
