Language policy

Our school fosters an English-rich environment through cross-curricular collaboration, integrating English into non-language subjects and offering activities such as drama, writing workshops, and debate training. In partnership with Harrow International School Hong Kong, we provide free English drama and Art program where Form One students attend classes, broadening their exposure and skills. These efforts aim to enhance overall English proficiency in authentic contexts. In Chinese Language, the curriculum emphasizes extensive reading and cultural literacy, supported by thematic worksheets and monthly reading initiatives. Annual events including Chinese Week and Putonghua Week strengthen language engagement. Our students excel in the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival across Cantonese and Putonghua categories. The Putonghua curriculum aligns with standard proficiency tests, and additional support—such as Cantonese classes and individual tutorials—is available for diverse learning needs.
