Route unconfirmedLanguage policy
Our school is dedicated to fostering bilingual and trilingual education. English is the primary language of instruction for most subjects, except for Chinese Language, Chinese History, Putonghua, Civics, Economics and Society, Tourism and Hospitality, and Visual Arts (S.4-6), which are taught in Chinese or Putonghua. (For a complete list, refer to the "Subjects Offered in the 2025/26 Academic Year" and "Proposed Subjects for the 2026/27 Academic Year.") To enhance students’ English proficiency, we employ experienced foreign English teachers. To cultivate a vibrant language-learning environment, students are encouraged to deliver speeches and serve as emcees in English or Putonghua during morning assemblies and school events. We also promote exchange programmes with students from Mainland and abroad to strengthen language skills and cultural awareness. A reading period is scheduled on each of the four school days per week for the whole school, where teachers and students engage with extracurricular books or articles weekly. This practice broadens perspectives, deepens knowledge, and nurtures a culture of reading.
